It seems we aren’t the only ones missing fabulous red carpet fashion moments. Awards show aficionado Halle Berry is so eager to get back on the red carpet that she had to create her own fashion moment right in her garden, wearing a black two-piece design from Christian Siriano’s pre-autumn collection.

“Looking for a red carpet moment ✨ (This beauty was designed by @csiriano)”, Berry wrote on Instagram under a photo gallery of herself striking a series a dramatic poses in her home and garden. Berry is the first to wear a design from Christian Siriano’s pre-autumn collection that is made from completely recycled materials. The stunning creation features a black floor-length full tulle skirt and a matching, sheer cropped top embellished with 3D black and white monarch butterflies.

While Siriano’s design is exceptionally unique, we couldn’t help but think of a similar sheer fashion moment that Berry flaunted with confidence. Berry’s crimson Elie Saab gown at the 2002 Academy Awards is one of her most memorable red carpet moments of all time. Similarly to Siriano’s creation, the Saab gown featured a full floor-length skirt and a sheer bodice with thoughtfully placed flower embroidery – and we’re betting that was a major influence behind her at-home red carpet look.
