Harris Reed is bringing opulent, gothic glamour to Missoma’s collection of on-trend, classic jewellery. Loved by Harry Styles, Solange, and Alessandro Michele, the designer and stylist is launching a 49-piece demi-fine collection and 15-piece fine capsule with the pioneering British jewellery brand.

“After over a year inside, the time really is now to make the everyday our stage,” Missoma founder Marisa Hordern said about Reed’s creative influence. “This collection is all about acceptance and inclusivity through our deeply symbolic pieces, given the romantic opulence and gothic chic that comes with all things Harris. I absolutely loved working with Harris to create this new world for Missoma, and we hope you will love it too.”

On the collection, Reed understands that everyone doesn’t have access to his designer gowns, like the dresses worn by Harry Styles for Vogue‘s December 2020 cover. Reed hopes that more people will be able to indulge in the Harris Reed fantasy by investing in a beautiful necklace or ring from the the designer’s first jewellery collection.

Harris Reed x Missoma is inspired by a non-binary reimagining of gothic romanticism. “The gothic themes and symbols take from ‘the old world’ and stand for the future as new heirlooms of fluidity and inclusivity,” according to Missoma. Standout designs include a dual-gender butterfly that represents the transformative journey of accepting the true versions of ourselves, also witchy Georgian hands, gothic daggers, serpents, and lockets inspired by the intricate ceilings at London’s Royal Opera House. Demi-fine pieces are crafted from recycled sterling silver, recycled 18 carat gold vermeil, and gold plating, with fine jewellery being made from 14 carat solid recycled gold, blue sapphire, and conflict-free white and black diamonds.

Harris Reed x Missoma launches online on Thursday, 16 September (the first day of London Fashion Week), and is priced from £49 for demi-fine jewellery and up to £6,500 for fine jewellery pieces.
