You might want to take a moment after seeing Halsey‘s sensational outfit at Paris Fashion Week. The singer stepped out in the French capital on 4 Oct. to attend Beyoncé’s Tiffany & Co. closing party at the Palais de Tokio wearing black underwear under a totally sheer maxi skirt.
The “Gasoline” singer rocked the show-stopping ensemble to the A-list event and proved that underwear as outerwear is a trend that is going nowhere. Sporting a black crop top with asymmetric neckline and thin straps with matching low-slung v-front thong knickers, they slipped a completely sheer maxi skirt over the top. The skirt offered minimal coverage of their thong and flowed elegantly to the ground where they added a pair of patent pointed stilettos to finish off the femme fatale aesthetic.
With their cropped pixie cut kept slick with a middle parting, they carried the Givenchy Kenny Silk Padlock Bag, and added ear cuffs and rings to bring a little sparkle to the all-black outfit. With smokey eye makeup, a neutral lip, and their multiple tattoos on full display, Halsey’s jaw-dropping look is certainly one for the fashion archives. Naomi Campbell, Doja Cat, and Lori Harvey were also in attendance at the Beyoncé party which rounded off a busy fashion month.
Halsey had spent the week as a regular feature of Paris’s front rows. They hit up the Chanel show earlier in the day, wearing extreme wide-leg jeans with a white poplin shirt and multiple brooches. They also attended the Enfants Riches Deprimes runway wearing a ’90s grunge-inspired ensemble, and chose a top-to-toe sculptural red outfit for the Vivienne Westwood show.
It’s been a busy time for Halsey, both in their career and their personal life. It’s just over a year since they welcomed their first child, named Ender, with boyfriend Alev Aydin. They have also been vocal about their struggles with endometriosis, autoimmune issues, and their experiences with miscarriage and abortion in light of the Roe v. Wade ruling in the US. While Halsey’s personal style has always been top of our fash-spiration lists, their Paris collection might just be our favourite yet.
