The Brits 2023 has kicked off with a red carpet full of the who’s who of UK music dressed up to the nines for the prestigious award show. Taking place at London’s O2 Arena, the event has already made history as, for the first time, the Brits takes place on a Saturday. Clara Amfo, Roman Kemp, and Maya Jama (fresh from her stint presenting “Love Island”) have been on the red carpet spotlighting the best dressed guests so far, and we are already pinning so many looks to our moodboards.

As the celebrities arrive, there is of course anticipation surrounding who will win the coveted Brit awards. While R&B girl group Flo have already snagged the Brits Rising Star award, the other Brits winners will be announced during the show. Unfortunately, there has been controversy surrounding the artist of the year category, which sees Central Cee, Fred Again, George Ezra, Harry Styles, and Stormzy nominated, with noticeably no non-binary or female nominees in the mix.
